UAL ONLINE
The task was to develop a cohesive brand language for UAL’s new online courses in MA Fashion Business and Fashion Marketing. Alphabetical Studio, London, created the brand language and our role was to adapt it across various formats. This included designing brochures, creating marketing materials and developing animations to bring it to life.

The photography style combines portraits of students with their work, complemented by rich textural elements. Each MA course is assigned a distinctive colour palette for clear identification, while ensuring the design remains accessible and inclusive.
This large-scale project encompassed the design of marketing materials for both print and digital campaigns, ensuring a cohesive visual experience across all platforms. Given that the audience was design students, the brand language needed to feel dynamic, modern, and inspiring—reflecting creativity at its core.
My role primarily focused on adapting the brand assets into multiple formats and sizes, maintaining visual consistency while optimizing layouts for various touchpoints, including social media, digital banners, and printed brochures.
MA GRAPHIC DESIGN
They also tasked us with developing a cohesive brand language for UAL’s new online MA Graphic Design courses. The identity needed to reflect the essence of graphic design—bold, experimental, and deeply rooted in strong typographic principles - while staying aligned with UAL’s core brand guidelines.ADAPTATION

BRAND CONSISTENCY
This distinctive photographic style ensures the brand stands out in a competitive market. Since the target audience is primarily professionals around the age of 35, the imagery focuses on people engaging with their devices in familiar environments - homes, cafés, and workspaces - emphasizing convenience and flexibility.
Adding a playful dimension, the connectors form the heart of UAL’s visual identity. Inspired by the UAL symbol, these elements highlight both the digital nature of the online courses and the adaptability of their structure.
